Training at Ludwig Institute For Cancer Reseach (LICR)
Since the laboratory was established, there has been 16 collaborative visits to the UCL Branch of the Ludwig Institute, involving 11 researchers.
These visits were supported by grants and fellowships from the Wellcome Trust, The Royal Society, INTAS, FEBS, EACR and UICC.
Research visit to the LICR has been an excellent opportunity for members of our laboratory to learn modern techniques in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology. The knowledge gained during these visits allowed us to establish a number of these techniques in our laboratory, including yeast-two hybrid screening, generation of expression libraries, SEREX methodology, transient expression of recombinant proteins in mammalian cells and their characterization, baculoviral expression system.
